These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your use of the NXT Discord bot, the website at nxtnft.app, the dashboard, the Members API, Login with NXT, and related services (together, the "Service"). The Service is operated by NXT ("NXT", "we", "us"). By adding NXT to a Discord server, logging in, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization or community, you agree on its behalf and confirm you have authority to do so.
1. The Service
NXT helps Discord communities manage roles and community tools based on publicly available blockchain data. Features include token gated role verification, captcha, onboarding messages, support tickets, giveaways, sales, art, and floor bots, a member directory, and developer interfaces. We may add, change, or remove features over time. Where a change materially reduces a paid feature, we will give reasonable notice.
2. Accounts and eligibility
You sign in with your Discord account, or with an email and password. An email account must be connected to a Discord account once before it can manage servers. You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required by Discord and the laws of your country, whichever is higher. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your Discord account secure. Server administrators are responsible for who they allow to manage NXT in their server. Anyone with the Manage Server or Administrator permission in a server, and its owner, can manage NXT there.
3. Wallet proofs
Members prove control of a wallet by sending a small transfer from the wallet to itself, by placing a code in a public OpenSea profile, or by importing a full-wallet delegation published on delegate.xyz to a wallet already proven. NXT never asks you to connect a wallet, sign a message, or share a private key or seed phrase. Network fees for self-transfers are paid by you to the network and are not collected by NXT. Anyone asking for your seed phrase or a wallet signature in the name of NXT is not acting for us.
A wallet can be linked to only one Discord account at a time. You may remove a linked wallet at any time from your account page or with the My wallets button on any NXT verify panel.
4. Server administrators
When you add NXT to a server or configure it, you agree that:
- you have permission to manage that server and to install bots in it;
- you will configure rules, roles, and messages lawfully and in line with Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines;
- you are responsible for the content of panels, onboarding steps, ticket categories, giveaways, and any prizes you offer, including any legal requirements for promotions in the places where your members live;
- you will handle member data you access through the dashboard, CSV export, or the Members API in line with applicable privacy law.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service to defraud, phish, impersonate, or harm others, or to distribute malware;
- attempt to access data or servers you are not authorized to access, or to bypass rate limits, plan limits, or security controls;
- interfere with or overload the Service, its infrastructure, or the RPC providers and APIs it relies on;
- resell or sublicense the Service, or use it to build a competing product by scraping it;
- use the Service in violation of any law or of Discord's terms.
We may suspend or remove the Service from a server or account that violates these Terms.
6. Plans, billing, and limits
Plans are per Discord server. The Free plan is provided at no charge. Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through our payment processor, Stripe, and renew automatically until cancelled. Prices and limits are listed on the pricing page and may change with at least 30 days notice before your next renewal.
If a server exceeds its plan limits or a payment fails, the server enters a 30 day grace period. After that, new role grants pause until the server is within limits or the balance is paid. Existing roles are not removed because of plan limits or billing. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or where we decide otherwise at our discretion.
7. Data and privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and how we use it. In short, we process Discord identifiers, server membership and roles, wallet addresses you choose to prove, and public on-chain data in order to provide the Service. We do not sell personal data.
8. Developer interfaces
API keys and OAuth client credentials are confidential. Keep them secret, use them only for the server or application they were issued for, and respect the documented rate limits. We may revoke keys that are leaked or misused. Data obtained through the Members API or Login with NXT may only be used for the purpose disclosed to the members concerned.
9. Third-party services
The Service depends on third parties including Discord, blockchain networks and RPC providers, OpenSea, delegate.xyz, and Stripe. We are not responsible for their availability, accuracy, or conduct. Blockchain data can be delayed, reorganized, or temporarily unavailable. NXT is designed to avoid removing roles when data is uncertain, but we do not guarantee that every check is complete or real-time.
10. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, and documentation, belongs to NXT and its licensors. You keep ownership of content you provide, such as panel text and ticket messages, and grant us a limited license to host and display it to operate the Service.
11. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. NXT does not provide financial, investment, or legal advice, and nothing in the Service is an offer or recommendation regarding any digital asset.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, NXT will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or digital assets, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim and 100 US dollars.
13. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify NXT against claims arising from your configuration of the Service in your server, your giveaways and promotions, or your violation of these Terms or of law.
14. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time by removing the bot from your server and deleting your linked wallets. We may suspend or end the Service for you if you breach these Terms or if continuing would expose us or others to legal or security risk. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. When changes are material, we will post the new version here with a new effective date. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
