New members solve an image captcha inside Discord, and NXT assigns a role on success. Set your channel permissions so only that role can see the rest of the server, and the captcha becomes the door. The challenge appears in an ephemeral message and the answer goes into a modal.
Three steps. Then it runs itself.
Create a gate channel
Make a channel everyone can see. Give NXT permission to post there and pick a role to assign on success.
Members solve it
A member clicks Start, sees an image with a short code, clicks Enter code, and types it into a modal.
Access opens
NXT assigns the role. If you have set channel permissions for that role, the rest of the server becomes visible.

A distorted six-character code rendered as an image, with easily confused characters removed.
Private to the member
Challenges are ephemeral, so only the member solving it sees the image and the result.
Three attempts
Each challenge allows three attempts and expires after ten minutes. Members can start a fresh one.
Role on pass
Choose any role below NXT in the role list to assign when a member passes.
Gate by permission
You hide channels from @everyone and show them to the captcha role. Members who have not solved it then see only the gate channel.
Solve log
The dashboard shows solves for the last day, week, and month, and the latest 50 members who passed, with the time.
