Add or remove a wallet

This page is for members. NXT never asks you to connect a wallet, sign a message, or visit another website. Everything happens in your server's verification channel.

Verify with a wallet you already proved

If you proved a wallet in any server that uses NXT, click Verify in the verification channel. NXT checks your wallets and grants every role you qualify for within seconds.

Prove a new wallet with a same-wallet transfer

A same-wallet transfer proves you control the wallet because only the owner can send from it. The amount goes from your wallet back to the same wallet, so you only pay the network fee.

  1. Click Verify in the verification channel.
  2. Choose Same-wallet transfer.
  3. Enter your wallet address.
  4. Pick a network from the list. Any of them works, so choose one where the wallet has a little gas and fees are low.
  5. Send exactly the amount NXT shows, from that wallet to the same wallet address, on the network you picked.
  6. Click I sent it and paste the transaction hash. The hash is optional: if you leave it blank, NXT searches the recent blocks for your transfer, and asks for the hash if too many blocks have passed.

NXT finds the transaction, confirms the sender, recipient, and amount match, links the wallet to your Discord account, and checks your roles.

The amount is unique to your request, so send it exactly as shown. A challenge expires after one hour. If it expires, start again to get a new amount.

Prove a wallet with your OpenSea profile

This option appears when the server has it enabled and OpenSea data is available.

  1. Click Verify and choose OpenSea profile.
  2. Enter your wallet address. NXT shows a short code.
  3. Add the code anywhere in the bio of the OpenSea profile for that wallet and save.
  4. Click Check.

Once verified, you can remove the code from your bio.

Import a cold wallet with delegate.xyz

If your holdings sit in a cold wallet, you do not need to move them or use the cold wallet at all.

  1. On delegate.xyz, delegate your entire cold wallet (a full wallet delegation, v2) to a hot wallet.
  2. Prove the hot wallet on NXT with one of the methods above.
  3. Click Import delegated wallets, either in the result you see after clicking Verify in the verification channel or on nxtnft.app/account.

NXT reads delegate.xyz v2 delegations on Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, Optimism, Polygon, and ApeChain, and links every cold wallet that delegated its full wallet to one of your proven wallets. Delegations limited to a single contract or token are not imported.

See and remove your wallets

  • In Discord, click My wallets on the verify panel to see your linked wallets and remove any of them.
  • On the web, log in at nxtnft.app/account to see your wallets with the proof method and date, remove a wallet, or import delegated wallets.

Removing a wallet unlinks it from your Discord account everywhere on NXT. Every server you are in re-checks your roles right away, and roles that depended only on that wallet are removed.

A wallet can belong to one account

Each wallet can be linked to one Discord account at a time. To move a wallet to a different Discord account, prove it again from the new account with a same-wallet transfer or OpenSea profile code. A fresh proof moves the wallet, and the previous account's roles are re-checked. A delegated import never takes a wallet away from an account that proved it directly.
