Networks

NXT works with any EVM chain. 44 networks are built in, and you can add any other EVM chain to your server in a minute. Every network supports wallet proofs, the on-chain rule types, the sales bot, and the art bot. OpenSea collection rules and the floor bot depend on OpenSea's chain coverage, and the sales bot detects sales paid in a wrapped native token only on the major chains it knows; sales paid in the native coin work everywhere.

Built-in networks

Built-in networks need no setup. They include Ethereum, Base, Polygon, Arbitrum, Optimism, Robinhood Chain, HyperEVM, ApeChain, Abstract, Avalanche, Zora, BNB Chain, and many more. See the full list with chain IDs on the chains page.

Add a custom EVM network

  1. Open Dashboard > Networks.
  2. Click Add network.
  3. Enter:
    • Chain ID
    • Name, for example My Chain
    • Currency symbol, for example MYC
    • RPC URLs, one per line, up to five, https:// only. Use at least two if you can.
    • Block explorer URL, optional, used for transaction links in sales posts
  4. Click Add network. NXT checks that every RPC URL answers with that chain ID before saving.

The network is then available in every rule and bot in your server. Once a rule uses it, it also appears at the top of the network list members see for same-wallet transfers.

Built-in networks cannot be added again as custom networks.

Need a network for everyone?

If a chain would be useful to many servers, email support@nxtnft.app with the chain ID and we can make it available to every server.

RPC failover

Each network has a list of RPC endpoints. NXT sends reads to the first endpoint and automatically falls back to the next one when a request fails or times out. If every endpoint fails, the check result is unknown, and no role is removed because of it.

For the best reliability on a custom network, put a paid RPC endpoint from your provider first in its list.
