A Native balance rule grants a role to members whose wallets hold a minimum amount of a chain's native coin, such as ETH on Ethereum or Base, POL on Polygon, or APE on ApeChain.

How it is checked
NXT reads the native balance of each of the member's wallets on the selected network and adds them. The rule passes when the total is at least the minimum. Amounts use 18 decimals, which is standard for EVM native coins.
Native balances change with every transaction, so they are checked on Verify and during scheduled sweeps rather than on each transfer.

- Requiring a minimum balance as a light anti-spam signal for a public channel.
- Gas-funded roles for testers on a specific chain.
- Combining with an NFT condition in a Combo rule.
