Protected users

Protected users never lose roles to NXT. Use protection for team members, moderators, partners, or anyone who should keep holder access regardless of what their wallets hold.

#How protection works

Protection is assigned by role:

1. Open Dashboard > Protected users.
2. Add one or more Discord roles, for example @Team and @Moderator.
3. Click Protect role.

Any member who has one of these roles is protected:

• NXT never removes verification roles from a protected member.
• NXT still grants roles to a protected member who qualifies.
• Protection applies to every removal NXT would make: on Verify, transfers, sweeps, and wallet changes.

#Notes

• Protection does not stop a server admin from removing roles manually in Discord.
• Removing the protected role from a member ends their protection. Their roles are evaluated normally at the next check.
• Protected members still count as verified members for your plan when they hold an NXT-granted role.
