A Contract rule grants a role to members who hold NFTs from a specific contract.
Settings
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Network | The EVM chain the contract is on |
| Contract address | The NFT contract, starting with 0x |
| Standard | ERC-721 or ERC-1155. NXT detects this for you when possible. |
| Token IDs | Required for ERC-1155, optional for ERC-721. Only these IDs count. |
| Minimum | Optional. How many tokens the member must hold. Defaults to 1. |
| Role | The Discord role to grant |
How it is checked
NXT counts the tokens from this contract held across all of the member's proven wallets, excluding any blocked tokens. The rule passes when the count is at least the minimum.
ERC-1155 balances are tracked per token ID, so for an ERC-1155 contract you list the token IDs that count. The rule adds up the member's balance of those IDs. On an ERC-721 contract you can also list token IDs to count only those.
Examples
- Holder role: any token from your collection, minimum 1.
- Whale role: a second Contract rule on the same contract with minimum 10, pointing at a different role.
If you need an upper bound, for example holders of 1 to 4 tokens, use a Quantity rule.
Collections that span several contracts are easier to manage with an OpenSea collection rule.
